I remember playing dress up at my grandmother's house. She had a stash of clothes and accessories in the bottom of her closet, much to my delight. My favorite treasures were always the jewelry and hats.
When she passed, I recollected those years; prancing around in her collection of costume jewelry, oversized dress and high heels. Those are precious memories!

Mrs. Riley worked in Houston's downtown Sakowitz store for a lifetime. Mr. Sakowitz Jr. attended her funeral. The classic style and taste of her retail employer was a perfect match for her own style. Accessorizing was truly an art when hats and gloves were involved. Oh what I would give to have her costume jewelry now!
